Another question! I have noticed in many sentences on the tests that you almost always use "aller" in addition to a reflexive verb.(I'm NOT referring to the "futur proche.)

Ex:1) Nous avons décidé d'aller nous promener. 2) J'irai me coucher tôt ce soir.

Isn't "going" already in the verb - se promener = to go for/to take a walk, se coucher = to go to bed. Seems a bit redundant. Just wondering why?

It is correct without "aller", isn't it?

1) Nous avons décidé de nous promener. 2) Je me coucherai tôt ce soir.

Two questions about Tu and VousIf there's a case that my teacher (or teacher's assistent) is somewhere near my age or we have known each other for a while (usually educators want to be as quick as possible to befriend students during class, so that would be approximately two weeks), should I address them in Tu or Vous? Another case is that what if I've chatted with a person whom I've just met for an hour and after a while I text that person in Tu, would I sound repelling? Merci beaucoup in advance!

Is the pronunciation of j’aurais and j’aurai identical in French spoken in Canada? I thought that some regions -ai = é and -ais = è.

Not a single friend"if I wanted to say he has no friends I would write il n'a aucun ami. In english he has no friends is a little different form He hasn't a single friend, that is why I did not use aucun. how in french can one stress not a single friend because their is a difference in english"
