Why is it "le résultat en vaut la peine! " Where is the "de" it is replacing?
I understand that « faire le ménage » is an expression, but cannot see why « faire du ménage » would be grammatically incorrect. Only « faire le ménage » is accepted in the exercise. Both are noted in wordreference.
Isn't this the same as both « faire les courses » and « faire des courses » being acceptable, depending on context ?
In the sentence "Tu veux des épinards", Why is it "des épinards"? I understand that des is used to mean some when things are countable. But I don't understand why spinach is considered to be countable,
hi and thank you for taking the time to answer this: i am very confused between the difference in ‘Je me souviens’ and ‘Je souviens’??? in English of course we only have ‘I remember’ , that s why i have no idea when to use which!! please help if you can and many thanks 🙏🏽
Puis-je utiliser le mot "néanmoins" au lieu de "malgré tout" dans cette phrase? La phrase est <Nous aurons apprécié ce repas malgré tout>. Est-ce qu'il y a quelque chose en particular avec malgré tout que j'aie peut-être raté? Je pense que vous voulez dire "despite everything".
