I'm really confused. I was marked wrong on a test when I put 'le jour de la Paques' for 'Easter Day'. The correct answer is supposedly 'le jour de Paques'.
Which is it?
Oh my. This looks like a permanenet discussion point.
Write "We play cards." : Nous ________ cartes .jouons aux"Nous jouons aux cartes" could mean we are playing cards or refer to a specif time they play cards.
Could one say " Nous faisons des cartes" in answer to a general question about whether or not a family or group know how to play cards? They coud actually be learning to play bridge for example.
'Nous t'avons rendu visite il y a une semaine.'
What is the purpose of rendu in this sentence if visiter can be used as a verb? Possible to say “Nous t’avons visité il y a une semaine”
