Lack of pas in written languageI have quite often noticed that pas or other negative word is missing in written French, in newspapers and in books. I don't have an example at hand, though. Why is this and when can it happen?

Can you start à sentence in French with an adverb?

Anxieusement, j'ai demandé: “Je ne comprends pas, qu'est-ce que vous avez fait? Est-ce légal ?

Sérieusement, il y a dix-huit temps de verbe différents en français !

Why is it " Allez, lève-toi! " ? (Vous or tu?)

I am confused by this sample imperative sentence.

Shouldn't it be Va, lève-toi!

Beau ou beaux

On a test we have "Vous devenez de plus en plus beaux."

1. Pourquoi beaux pluriel?

2. In the audio the first plus the S is heard and the second plus the S is silent. Is it because of the liason?
