Faire de, jouer àJust wondering if it might be possible to add a note after the end of the examples for »jouer à/au » and sport saying NB when you play an instrument however you say « jouer à la/au » just to remind people that jouer is used in this way also???

Jeudi, elle a un rendez-vous. -Tu veux dire ce jeudi ou ________ ? On Thursday, she's got a date. -You mean this Thursday or the following Thursday? In this question on the exam, it appears that both «le jeudi d'après» and «le jeudi prochain» would be correct given the phrasing of the question; however, my response was marked as incorrect. Please explain the reason that «le jeudi prochain» would be incorrect in this example as I am unable to comprehend that. Merci, Ron

Telling the time specificallyI was marked wrong for including "Il est dix-neuf heures et demie." as a way of specifically saying "It is 7:30PM. " Please explain?

Using 'des' as a partitive article

I'm continually confused about using des!

So, it's the plural of un/une (countable things). However it also seems to be used as a partitive article - as in the example "Tu veux des epinards?" (Do you want (some) spinach (uncountable thing)). Is epinards plural, and hence the use of des???

Can these sentences also be translated as ought?e.g. Je devrais apprendre le français = i should or ought to learn french? In English ought is stronger than should, but in french, how would you distinguish them if at all?

Don't suppose you could add the type of place in the questions?I would find it a lot easier on the tests if you would indicate if something is a city, state or region for example. Being from Canada the North American references are easy but the European not so much. Example Catalonia - had no idea it was a region until I googled it.
