what does cest ça mean?I saw the sentence "qu'est ce que c'est ça". I thought c'est and ça means the same thing "it", so I'm a little confused why do we need to repeat it twice. My teacher said that we can also use "qu'est ce que c'est" and "qu'est ce que ça". How exactly are they different?

Faire les course v. Faire des courses

I learned that the difference here is:

faire les courses = grocery shopping

faire des courses = running errands (still not leisure shopping but includes things like pharmacy, dry cleaning, dog to groomer etc.j

Is this correct?

C'est bon vs est bonneThe example says "la vanille, c'est bonne". why not "la vanille est bonne"? Especially since the ext sentence says "ces bonbons sont bons".

va-t-il What does the -t-il mean?I know now that it means " does he go, " but the average person reading this wouldn't know that. -T-il is perhaps the most confusing thing about French question-making. What does the -t- even mean? Can't mean tu or te judging by the context, so why's it there? Just for phonetic reasons, like the l' in si l'on? This should really be explained in the lesson, what -t-il means.

Je voudrais v j'aimeraisWhat is the difference in usage between je voudrais and j'aimerais? I have heard elsewhere that j'aimerais is appropriate when asking for something that you might not get or are unlikely to get. Is that correct?

Does ‘Vas-y’ mean ‘Let’s go’ or ‘Go there’ or either, depending on context?

I’ve seen both answers given in the space of half a hour. Does it depend on context or is this a mistake? Or am I mistaken? Merci.
