What is the difference between the use of le/la meme and pareil?I know that one can say "C'est le/la meme." for "It is the same." Can you not also say "C'est pareil/pareille?

aussiAre there any guidelines for the placement of 'aussi', before or after the verb? It seems that wherever I put it, it's wrong - and I don't seem to find a lot of consistency when I look for it on various websites. Help would be appreciated! Terri

En vs pendantI don't understand the difference (if any) between "en" and "pendant" when it comes to duration. Could you say both "j'ai mangé pendant une heure" and "j'ai mangé en une heure" to express "I ate for one hour"? Are there other examples (with duration) where you'd have to use one over the other?
