Hi, can we only use "pour+infinitive" in the present time, if an action is not happened yet?example: Je lui dire pour l'aider, or Il m'aide pour terminer ce travail plus vite.

"C'était la dernière fois que je venais te vois." Why does "que je venais" translate to "that I was coming" and not "that I came"?

On the test the question was "Il pense à sa famille. Elle y pense aussi. If y = à plus thing/object/location (but not a person) and famille is a group of people why is y used?
