"I love sculpture" in English isn't correct, should be "I love to sculpture/ I love sculpturing"

“Commencée à la fin du XIIe siècle”

Why does the first word have its final “e”? Is is agreeing with the feminine noun “fin”?

Also, is the first word best considered as an adjective or as a past participle in this sentence?

Deux erreurs

Dans le texte vous avez «les poèmes qui sont présentés» mais dans le fichier audio «les poètes qui sont présentés». De plus, le paragraphe 4, ligne 4, répète la ligne 3 dans une simple erreur de frappe ou de copier-coller.
