When do I use the à?
In the examples they used à and didn’t use à and they both mean he’s going to call his parents. So how do I know when I should use à?
In the above question the answer is cela,. Can it is alternatively written as " je le lui ai promis "

Throughout the writing activity where I described the boys neighborhood, I continued to use "Tu" instead of "On" when it asked me to type "When you want to go out, you have a lot of choices!"
The correct answer according to the computer was "Quand on veut sortir, on a beaucoup de choix !"
Can someone explain why On is used instead of Tu?

Could somebody please rewrite the explanation of irregular 'e-less' adverbs, found under the example box of vraiment, etc, into shorter, clearer english?

Could be an improvement over the current phrasing. And -GUER doesn't need explanation as it fits the general rule as would -IER verbs.
This fellow doesn't do any linking at all. Where does he live? What's his excuse for not saying C'est tun livre? I know some linking is facultatif, but "C'est un" would seem to be a no-brainer.
So "demeurer" sounds "posh"? What about "habiter"? Don't they mean the same thing?
