May be best to submit from the quiz - could it be simply the use of the wrong article (un marron/une châtaigne) ? Both marron and châtaigne can refer to edible (sweet) chestnuts.

Marron can refer also to inedible horse chestnuts.

PS - have just answered under another question on this. It is a misunderstanding (and has come up previously) - marron d'Inde is specifically a horse chestnut, but both 'marron' on its own, and châtaigne can refer to sweet chestnuts according to multiple sources.
