On a childhood record album, I learnedAinsi font, font, font les petites marionettes. Ainsi font, font, font trois petits tours et puis s'en vont! (Although I had incorrectly remembered it as 'et puis s'en va'.)Now I know better! Merci!

Will like or would likeIn 10 years time...je voudrais être vivant...or Je voudrai être vivant...would like or will like...I wrote je voudrais and someone wrote that it should be future and not conditional..je voudrai...I .found it confusing ...please clarify ))))

'You don't have to'Something I've always struggled with in France is when I don't want to say 'You must not', but rather 'You don't have to', for example: I don't want to say, 'You must not come straight away', but rather, 'You don't have to come straight away'. Can somebody point me to a good lesson on this, or let me know how to do it?

referring to females only from a mixed group?If you were referring to some females only but within a mixed gender group, could you say 'certaines d'entre eux'?

Il ne mange qu'une moitié du biscuit. He only eats one half of the biscuit.Does this not also means 'he eats only one half of the biscuit'? Or if not, how do you differentiate between these two meanings? Thanks
