le deuxième degré ?Will there be a lesson covering «le deuxième degré» usage of French? I ran across this in an article that I was reading and had not heard the phrase previously. It seems that there is also «le troisième degré». premier degré = au pied de la lettre deuxième degré = humour troisième degré et plus = humour capillotracté, paludoludiverbisme, voire céphalocaptation… Merci en avance.

Please explain the reason for 2 different conjugations with this verbI have noticed this peculiarity with s'asseoir as well as a couple of other verbs in French; however, I have never read or found an explanation for the reason this exists like such.

La liaison?The audio clips don't have a clear pattern when it comes to making a liaison between "suis" and the nationalities beginning with a vowel. It this an optional liaison? What would you recommend?
