When is 'de' required after ne...pas?Les filles jouent au foot? Non, elles ne jouent pas au foot. Why isn't it - ....pas de foot? I can't get my head around when de is required after pas and when it is not. Is there a lesson that explains this?

When used in a questionYou wrote 'When used in a question, "où" always means "where?" and "quand" always means "when?"' but didn't give an example. Does that mean "Le jour où j'ai eu vingt ans" become "Le jour quand ai-je eu vingt ans?" Thanks.

Difference between aller and aillent

What's the difference between le verbre aller et aillent? Is it the same verb, different tense? Or am I way off and it's just pronounced aillent?

How to specify what something is made from/ofAs I understand it, a wooden plank is "une planche DE bois" because it is made entierly from wood, while a tomato soup is "une soupe À LA tomate" because it has other ingredients as well. But in the most recent writing challenge we had "et comme plat principal, j’aimerais la salade DE chèvre chaud". Surely, a salad has several ingredients, so why is it not ".. salade AU chèvre chaud" ?

it doesn't work with other moments of the dayYou wrote "To emphasise that you're talking about "the evening before", you can also use the expression la veille au soir, but it doesn't work with other moments of the day (matin, après-midi)." Then how do I say the morning before?
