Rousse masculine or feminine"What is the gender of the person talking? "Je suis rousse.""

My answer was "ambiguous".

The corrent answer is "feminine". I don't get it. If the question refers to the people of Russia, I thought that was "russe", the same in both the feminine and the masculine.

I believe that "Elles sont" should be used here because we are talking about specific tomatoes. Yet "Ce sont" is correct here - why?
