passé composé vs imparfait

I found this posting below on Lawless French and I am still confused because they sound contradictory.

It says that Imparfait describes an ongoing state yet entirely in the past and Passé Composé indicates a change still continues today.

When you say J’aimais l’école, does it mean that you liked it but not anymore or that you still like it?

Imparfait means that something was true for an uncertain period of time but no longer valid?

Passé Composé is for something that has become true and is still valid?

Few/SeveralWhat English dialect is Kwiziq based on? My sociolect most definitely does not contain this silly "few is slightly less than several". Few is the opposite of many, it is not in a scale with several. Several means more than one, although usually 3 or more. I get that you are looking for a way to separate out the feel of scale in the French words, but it just doesn't work.

Note that l'un/l'une agrees in gender with the object it refers to.Tu veux fraise ou vanille? - Ni l'un ni l'autre. I note that both `fraise` and `vanilla` are feminine, therefore should the reply not be Ni l`une ni l`autre?
