Is there any difference between Je vu des fleurs and J'ai vu des fleurs?; i am wondering why ''J'ai ''instead of ''Je'' .

tout le monde est nouveau? Why not nouvelI seem to vaguely remember that there are two ways of talking about new, depending on how new the object is. Here I used nouvel but the correct answer was nouvel? Can anyone enlighten me?

Note that l'un/l'une agrees in gender with the object it refers to.Tu veux fraise ou vanille? - Ni l'un ni l'autre. I note that both `fraise` and `vanilla` are feminine, therefore should the reply not be Ni l`une ni l`autre?

Indefinite article"I buy milk" -> « j'achète DU lait » French sometimes need articles that English can do without. Are they always used? Consider an informal shopping list: "To buy: bread, milk, carrots..." Would a native frenchman write « À acheter: du pain, du lait, des carottes...» ?

C'est x Elle est

In the sentence "She's a French actress", supposing I'm pointing out to a picture of the actress in my hand or the actress is standing herself by my side, presenting her to others, in these cases, can I say "Elle est une actrice française" ? Or even though it remains "C'est une actrice française" ?

Passé antérieur and participleI'm having no luck translating the form, 'il eut heu'. I've run across it (or variations) three times now. It looks like a verb in the passé antérieur but none of the language reference tools I've checked recognise the participle 'heu'. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
