I was taking a test and I still don't understand when to use on vs. nous. They seem to be interchangeable. Can you give more examples?The test was one of those translate in the blank ones - Weekend in Lyon. It kept on using on when it seemed to me that nous would have been just as appropriate. Why use one over the other?

Perhaps I'm just not getting this?Above, you say: C'est in sentences "it is + a/the/my... + thing" C'est une jolie robe. It is a pretty dress. The sentence above is referring to a specific dress, otherwise how could we say it is pretty? Yet, further down the page, I read this: "...Il est/elle est for statements and opinions related to specific things: Tu aimes mon pull ? -Oui, il est très beau. Do you like my sweater? -Yes, it's very nice..." According the this, the sentence should be: "Elle est une jolie robe".

Plural OragesBonjour RON. I referenced this lesson because I was looking for an answer for the text in the Week 78 B1 writing challenge 'Weather Forcast" 'after a rough night which will likely be punctuated by thunderstorms' = après une nuit agitée qui devrait être ponctuée d’orages,'. I thought it might be from the ponctuée but I think its followed by par not de, I don't see any adjectives or negative sentences.
