Où se trouve ce pont magnifique?

The recommended translation reads 'au sein de sa famille ou au sein de sa communauté'. Why is the long prepositional phrase repeated? Could you not say 'au sein de sa famille ou de sa communauté'?

What is the significance of the numbers (a date?) at the end?

In some cases, I chose other words which were not accepted.  In particular, 'valide' instead of 'valable', 'choix' instead of 'options', and 'avoir l'intention de' instead of 'prévoir'.   In the context, were these incorrect, not the best choice, or just synonymes?   Thanks for all of your help.  The question and answer section is quite beneficial! 

It says: 

You use à when describing going to or being in a city.  

And you use de to indicate being, coming or returning from a city. 

So then how do you decide if you want to express being in a city since you use both de and à?

In English there is a strong feeling to want to say “the period”. Below, the definite article is missing, so it’s just “période”. Is this just the way it is in French?

Why is "I've seen the neighborhood evolve" translated passé composé instead of imparfait?  "I've seen" describes something that happens over time and is not ended, it's continuous and I'm not done seeing.  Isn't that the case for imparfait?
