Hello, Why can't we use admettre? j'ai admis ma defaite....
Les odeurs envoûtantes qui émanaient de ce coin de paradis m'ont accompagnées.
Why ées.?
What is subject,direct object in this sentence? why not accompagné
J'ai encore des cadeaux à acheter. - Marie les a déjà tous achetés
Why is the "achetés" plural in this case. As it is not conjugated with être in passé composé my understanding is that it would not agree?

Close Future : n' aller + en pas+ [infinitive] + [number]
Compound tense : n'en + [auxiliary] pas+ [past participle] + [number]

With regards to Cher Matt, chère Kate. If you are are writing a letter or a card and it's to both of them, could you default to the masculine version and say Cher Matt et Kate?

What if you want to use a pronoun how would you say it. Example j'ai rendu visite à ma soeur. In this case if I want to replace à ma soeur with a pronoun
I am trying why the woman's male partner addresses her as "tu" in one sentence, then as "vous" in the next sentence. Would please explain why?
Why is "de" necessary before "l'or" in this sentence since we're speaking of gold in a general sense?
Also, the prompt asked for "At night" but my translation "La nuit" was corrected to "Le soir". Shouldn't this be for "In the evening"? Thank you for your help!
