Why is "Ils ont été" and not "Ils étaient" ? These answers for were baffle me. They have been - They were, or are they interchangeable ?
Utter nonsense. Both those statements (ie, "speak Spanish fuently: or "speak fluent Spanish" are 100% interchangeable. If anyone tells you different, they're not native English speakers (or they're very poorly educated).
I'm getting the impression that the people who are setting these tests are not fluent English speakers.
Bonjour!
I noticed that in the sentence une femme heureuse at des femmes heureuses that the es was not underline like the others were.
I was hoping if you could fix that and underline the es so it could help the reader whose reading it understand it better. It was 2x on the same page.
