Bonjour Madame Cécile,

I am struggling with a problem related to relative pronouns. If given two sentences as-

"Prends mes crayons.Je n’en ai plus besoin.”

Now, how will these 2 sentences be combined using a relative pronoun?

Can the answer be as-

“Prends mes crayons que je n’en ai plus besoin.”

Or, would we use ‘dont’ as-

“Prends mes crayons dont je n’en ai plus besoin.” 

Which one is correct and what is the reason behind it ?

 Also Madame, will the pronoun en be omitted while combining the sentences or will it remain as it is. And why so ?

My french teacher only speaks in French.  She was trying to explain the difference between "face à" and "en face de"  but the nuance was lost on me.  Can someone explain in English?  Merci!

the sentence remain the same or changes to l'une est ..... et l'autre......PS confirm

This lesson is a bit confusing to me.  The grammar rule is stated very clearly but then the examples are confusing.  Just a suggestion but I think to make this lesson less confusing perhaps there could be more explanation of the examples.  Also reading the English translation makes it seem like the what is the subject but then the french translation seems like the what is the complement of the verb.  Then, the example that confused me the most in this lesson was one of the quiz questions.
