Hi, I initially wrote "j’ai ouvert la porte" but the last syllable of ouvert seemed to be held a really long time, almost like ouvert à la porte.

I knew that making it imperfect and adding the "à" didn’t make sense but…. Too funny

Is that pronunciation common?

Aurélie, both que and qui can be used for which and that. And we qui when the following word is a verb or reflexive pronoun. Il veut visiter le château qui est au milieu de la forêt. 'visiter is the verb but it does not follow it is before qui so why is que in this question wrong?

Aurélie, so let me get this straight. For 'faire' to be correct in English as far as the quizzes go, I must use the word 'will' right? After lunch, the girls will do their homework, after lunch the girls are going to do their homework mean the same thing in English really. This just adds confusion!!! I am so frustrated with B1 and I have just began!! And the BOT takes too much time!!

Why "dans le frigo" instead of "du frigo?"One takes the beer not *in* the fridge but *from* the fridge, which should be "de", shouldn't it?

Aime bien vs. AdorerI don't understand when to use aime bien vs. adorer. She likes sweets very much was marked wrong when I picked Elle aime bien les bonbons, but there is some subtle nuance for why that should be adore instead, I just do not see it in the lesson

Doubt in accords

Bonjour Cécile,

I have observed that while writing passé composé,two types of sentences are possible-

1.Où êtes-vous allé en vacances?

2.Où êtes-vous allés en vacances?

Why has the extra "s" been added in second sentence although both are congucated with "vous" form?

Pls guide with this rule.
