Why is it not leurs médailles when there is more than one medal?
J'aime beaucoup cette idée de proposer des exercices pour nous aider à lire et à écouter le français. Mais serait-il possible d'ajouter aussi des questions ou un quiz pour aider les apprenants à consolider le nouveau vocabulaire? Par exemple, sur TV5Monde, il y a beaucoup d'exercices qui vérifient sa compréhension des textes. En faisant les exercices, on apprend beaucoup et on doit penser à la signification des mots et des expressions, ce qui est vraiment utile.
I believe the explanation in the Q&A for using the present tense in place of a conjugated verb should be part of the main lesson as opposed to surfacing in the Q&A as it is an important exception to the general grammar rule and subject of the lesson.
Way too fast to understand!
Can some help me further please . Today in the news, Lionel Jospin, the ancien premier ministre said: "Le president pouvait se donner le temps de peser les risques qu'il (faisait prendre au pays)". Is faire prendre a locution? in word reference, I can't see it mentioned. Are there any lessons on faire usage as locution. thanks for your help.
So, as the rule in this lesson states that in Negation we use Ne...Personne instead of N'importe qui for saying 'anyone' ...so, should it be? -
- Elle ne fait personne confiance. [She does not trust anyone.] Because the negation surrounds the main conjugated verb?
Over the last few days I have powered through over all the A0 topics in order to get them out of the way and get to study A1 or better lessons, yet for some reason it feels like I am on a loop right now, where all the lessons on my study plan are A0 ones even though all of them are 100%'d already, I even got the award for achieving a 100% completion on a level. Is there any way to get Kwiziq to stop giving me these lessons and get it to give me A1 ones ?
Martin likes Sarah. -> Martin aime bien Sarah. I answered this question with simply "Martin aime Sarah", and I wonder why was it marked as a mistake. Nothing in the question suggested that it's the friendly sort of like, it could very well be a romantic sort of like. Both options seem grammatically correct to me. Isn't that right?
Can you please explain why we us de le together. I have always been told you must never use de le together. You can use du, de l' or de la. This is a first for me.
