Why here we cannot use neuf, it is a new bike so it has not been used.Futhermore it is not living things, neuf here sounds make sense.
Pourquoi la phrase avec des cocotiers manque t-Elle les partitifs (avec des cocotiers, du sable), or is it because it is like a dream 'aah, cocotiers, sable banc, cocktails
Why is it "Mes fils ont toujours adoré cette tradition" ? If the tradition is ongoing with no start and finish should not the 'imparfait' be used here?
This sentence was considered correct:
Tu es apparue comme un ange.
But that doesn't that assume we know that the subject is female? If we don't know, why isn't it Tu es apparu comme un ange.
Wish could explain more how en dans du etc in the example is right for you.. some are obvious.. what if you do not know what is a region city province etc etc.. do not specifically show in beginner questions why exactly your example follows the rule. it is rudimentary boring for you.. else its back to having to memorize what is correct what is not. especially in the beginner examples. so frustrating.

I filled in 'le prochain', but was marked as wrong. I get that Kwiziq is trying to teach this lesson in particular but doesn't this also work?

I chose the correct answer and yet I was scored as if I had not. This is not the first time this has happened. Why does it happen and how can I correct the situation when it happens?
Not that it necessarily requires a separate lesson, as it follows the same pattern as most of the other verbs, but perhaps 'tomber' should also be on the list of dual auxiliary verbs - être in intransitive form, avoir in transitive form.
