If this asking if you like a specific colour. Why is it not "Oui, il est tres jolie!

Another referred to ma coupe - it was Elle est tres ....., WHY elle here?

Why peut-etre que?I am doing an exercise called "My post-university plans." I am asked to translate from English to French "Maybe I'll be able to spend some time ...." I wrote "Peut-etre je pourrai passer les temps..." The answer was "Peut-etre que je pourrai..." My question is why the "que" after peut-etre? Thank you.

how to know if cadeau is singular or plural??

in the text, you start by saying 'ils leur ont préparé un cadeau....' Singular.

but at the end, you say '....de si jolis cadeaux'. It is hard to know if it is plural or not by just listening, especially when we started with just the one.

They would be lucky: "ils auraeints de la chance" I saw the avoir verb used here: "ils auraeints de la chance." Why not use etre ("would be"): Ils seraient de la chance. Is it a rule that the avoir verb always used with luck versus the etre verb?
