What's about the things we like in the past? What if the thing we like or dislike happens in the past? For example, I hate that you gave her the money or I like that you helped that old lady.

Could you give a reminder/link re: lui vs. elle?I had the question Translate "She misses Jacques". I chose "Jacques elle manque" (wrong) instead of "Jacques lui manque". The lesson states "...or to use pronouns (i.e. I, you, he, we, they... miss), you will use me/te/lui/nous/vous/leur before manquer.". Would it be possible to add a link to the relevant lesson about pronouns at the bottom of the lesson? It would be helpful to reference this, to understand which pronoun to use in this instance. Thanks.

Mathilde a rentré la voiture avant qu'il ne pleuveI feel like I have learned this lesson before but for the life of me I can't remember why "ne" doesn't have a negative meaning here. Is there a lesson associated with it? Thank you.

My question is about the English translation of 'gras' and 'grass.'In the question above, "Le bacon est gras mais la salade n'est pas grasse." is translated to: "Bacon is fat but salad is not fat." Wouldn't: "Bacon is fatty but salad is not fatty." be a more accurate translation? "Fat" is a noun or adjective describing size, whereas "fatty" describes something that is more caloric. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

When used in a questionYou wrote 'When used in a question, "où" always means "where?" and "quand" always means "when?"' but didn't give an example. Does that mean "Le jour où j'ai eu vingt ans" become "Le jour quand ai-je eu vingt ans?" Thanks.

I don't think!Would there be much of a difference between. I don't think it is interesting and I think it is not interesting. The first would be wth subjunctive and the second with the indicative. Would there be any preference to use one rather than the other. Would there be a slight change in meaning? thankyou.
