Hello,
I need to make my TEF french test in 8 months and I am looking to reach B2 in reading, writing, speaking and listening. I am currently at A0 (I am much better than A0 but I would like to start there). How should I go about studying from A0 to B2 to reach my goal? What should I start with (grammar? listening?), how should i go about studying every day that mixes everything in? Is the vocabulary on the website good enough for a high B2 for my exam?
I'm assuming this is a contextual/nuance difference, but if someone could clarify why one is used here over the other, I'd be very grateful!
Enfin, je me fixerai des objectifs pour la journée
Merci!
Can we say: un radicalement nouveau style de vie ?
Because I remember that the adjective 'nouveau/nouvel/nouvelle' positions before the noun it qualifies.
In this page: https://www.lawlessfrench.com/grammar/irregular-re-verbs/, naître is included in "Really irregular -re verbs" instead of being grouped with "7) Verbs like connaître". Just wondering if there is a difference in present tense conjugations between the two that I'm missing?
La réponse du kwizbot pour "Maybe they will know someone here" est : « Peut-être qu'ils connaitront quelqu'un ici » mais d'après mon dictionnaire et Deepl, ce devrait être « connaîtront »
There is a quiz question to translate 'I don't believe so'. The 'so' threw me off.
Apparently, the right answer is 'Je ne le crois pas.' It links to this lesson, the neuter 'le'.
I am wondering why the 'le' is a neuter pronoun and not a direct object pronoun? Is it because the way croire is used here is actually 'croire que'?
Second, when I checked the answer on AI (sorry), it tells me that 'I don't believe that' translates to 'je n'y crois pas'; and 'I don't believe so' is just 'je ne crois pas'. It seems to think that 'je ne le crois pas' can only mean 'I don't believe him' -- as in, 'le' must be a direct object pronoun.
Is any of the AI answer correct, or is it all rubbish? Je ne sais pas si je dois y croire!
Why the imperfect for Sophie and Grandma, but the perfect tense for the parents ?
"Je suis le plus sympa garçon de l'école."
This is another example (like the earlier "C'est la plus rapide voiture du monde") that kwizik says is correct, but both my french speaking friend and Gemini says is incorrect . Could someone please check and confirm?
There's another one:
"C'est la plus grosse étoile de la galaxie."
Thanks
It would be far more helpful if the help section here expanded on all options that they put into the multiple choice answers.
why can't I say j'habite en or j'habite Dans why does it have to be à
