Is there a use of venir with the other pronouns I can look up?
Please tell me why "En fait" is not accepted in the translation of ”In fact, I practise [US: practice] a lot of different sports”. Thanks.
Have you made good friends? Why is this reflexive? Google translates it as: "As-tu fait de bons amis"---comme moi.
When doing an exercise for my french class, we had to change a word or phrase to a synonym from the text. In doing so I came across:
Nous avons DE bonnes relations. BUT Nous avons DES rapports cordiaux.
Looking up sentences on Reverso Context gave dozens of examples but always DE bonnes relations and DES rapports cordiaux.
Can anyone explain please?

The lesson Question: Nous ________ insomniaques avec l'âge.
We're becoming insomniac with age.(HINT: Conjugate "devenir" (to become) in Le Présent)I wrote "devons" which is consistent with the exampls of Le Present shown in the Discuss and Learn for venir and tenir. But the answer that was stated as correct was "devenons". I am confused as this is not consisten with any of the 'ir' verbs I have learned so far.
I thought a phrase starting with " En grandissant.." would trigger the imperfect. However in this particular writing exercise of B1: "A Childhood Passion" the sentences that follows that aforementioned "gérondif" are in the simple past.
Can we use expier to say amends in the last sentence ?
