Does on always take nous form of verb?Thank you
Je viens de comprendre le système "dre" bien que je voie qu'il n'y a aucune différence entre "re" et "dre".
Il est possible qu'il y ait qqc d'importante qui me manque entre les deux conjugations.
Merci à tous!
Please, could someone explain why the following is given as a correct option? I understand that relative pronouns agree in gender and number:
Les filles à qui je pense sont géniales.
Hello there,
I just finished the test with everything but 2 sentences correct. However, because my keyboard is not french, it registered as every one of them wrong. I think there should be something done about that.
In the test Nous voyageons dans ________ propre voiture – ‘notre’ is stated as the correct answer, not ‘nos’
However, in the learn and discuss - Nous avons nos passeports is stated as correct.
What is the difference?
Are there any lessons about how to read longer numbers, e.g. 4,500,000? Or years, like 1959? I feel like I've picked up how to read years from listening to podcasts, but it would be nice to be quizzed on them, and I don't how to read longer numbers.
If these already exist, consider adding links to them from this lesson.
Thank you!
From my understanding, french does not put two vowel together and will use "j'", "d'", "l'", etc. if there is a vowel as the first letter. I also know that "h" is silent and also uses "j'","d'","l'". etc.
I would like to know why and if there other letters that follow this rule. Thank you very much in advance.
I’m wondering why Nous is missing from this discussion. Ex: Write to us! Or Follow us! Is it because it is simply nous for both direct and indirect objects?
It seems as though "Elle s'est fait jeter en prison", or "Ils se sont fait raser la barbe", in each case with "fait" invariant, are acceptable. Am I right, and, if so, is there a logic behind the invariance?
Hello,
why is this question son lit and not ton lit?
