Just curious if we can use “excitant” instead of passionnant? Thanks!

I also was confounded about this. Seeing that "bien entendu" usually means of "course", I also thought that parler should have been a participle, which would yield the translation "I had of course talked about this new position". But as I understand "bien entendu" in this case does not translate to "of course" and that "entendu" should be seen in conjuction with "parler" and not as part of the idiomatic expression "bien entendu". Do I make any sense?

1 "qui semblaient occupés à transporter de la nourriture jusqu'à leur terrier". Why not "leurs terriers"? The English text is "their burrows", i e in plural.

2. "Elles sont restées à les regarder une dizaine de minutes". The first time I worked through this translation excercise I used "observer" as a translation of "observe", but this was flagged and not given as an alternative. Thus, in the second time around I used "regarder", but this time "observer" was the correct translation and "regarder" was not given as an alternative. I cannot be wrong both times🤔.

For “competition”  I used the word concours instead of compétition; is there any problem with that?

Why is 'Apple tart with cream' translated as plural in French? , and shouldn't it be Tarte 'du' pommes instead of 'aux'?

Its a cute little exercise but with it being a beginner exercise .. .  Focusing on proper pronunciation should supersede show.  The fully little voice frankly mispronounces a few words that context makes one able to figure it out but at this level, its hard enough just getting the words much less sorting through a strange (though cute) little acting voice.
