Je toujours admirais leur courage et leur dévouement.I'm not sure I understand why this is P.C. and not imparfait? The English sentence to me implies that he is still admiring, not that the act of admiring is over. I guess it could be interpreted in two ways? Thoughts anyone? Merci!

I joined kwiziq today and I already love it! I just wanted to ask how to practice for a writing test because obviously you cannot predict the question. Would you recommend writing about everything and doing loads of practice questions (however that would take a REALLY long time)? Or do you think just revising and learning the vocabulary and grammar is enough? I just always feel so unprepared for writing tests so I hope joining kwiziq will help.

Can you explain the different use of punctuation after the greeting in the following two sentences?
Bonjour Laura, installez-vous, je vous prie.
Bonjour Monsieur Lambert ! Dès que j'ai découvert votre offre d'emploi, j'ai su qu'il s'agissait d'une opportunité à ne pas manquer.
Is it simply that the first sentence is shorter?

This is , I think, a technical question, but I don't know where to post it - perhaps you could pass it on....
In this exercise, every time I have written an apostrophe - "Je l'ai enfin fait", "J'ai obtenu", "J'ai décidé d'agir", J'ai démandé....qu'eux" etc, the marking has flagged this up as an error, as if I have somehow typed "the wrong sort of apostrophe". This has never happened before - I wonder if it is some kind of glitch that has developed with the new marking system - but I'm at a loss to work out what I am supposed to be doing wrong here, and what I could possibly do any differently !
I think I’m confused about this. The lesson says that Je suis is used for “I am” but I got the question on the quiz wrong oui, merci Je _____ mieux aujourd'hui. And the translation was “yes, thank you, I’m better today.” I put “Je suis” because “I’m” is the contraction for “I am,” but the correct answer was Je vais, which is used for “I feel.” Was I just taking the translation too literally?

Then it says this is...
71 = 60 + 11 = soixante et onze (No hyphen)
I wrote puis-je vous aider and it was corrected to be est-ce que je peux vous aider.
