Frustrating - not able to progress due to too long a period between being able to take further quizes.

How can I work towards a Silver Star on a specific area when the Kwizbot will not allow me to take any further quizzes for what looks like more than 8 days since the last quiz taken ?

It looks like when I take a few quizzes I am then hamstrung against making further progress for far too long a period of time.

D'immenses vagues venaient vers moi. - why not "Les immenses vagues"?Why is an indefinite article used here, and definite in the verse "Comme la vague irrésolu"?

"Je manque à elle" vs. "Elle me manque"

I was deeply confused by this, but I think I now understand.

I can say "Mon chat me manque.", or "Mon chat manque à Jean.". HOWEVER,

"Mon chat manque à moi" and "Mon chat manque à elle" are NOT correct.

Am I understanding this correctly?

Faire le ménage ou faire du ménage ou les deux ?

I understand that « faire le ménage » is an expression, but cannot see why « faire du ménage » would be grammatically incorrect. Only « faire le ménage » is accepted in the exercise. Both are noted in wordreference.

Isn't this the same as both « faire les courses » and « faire des courses » being acceptable, depending on context ?

Si clauseThe phrase “if you could run” uses L’imparfait. But the phrase “if you run” uses the present tense. Could you explain this difference to me? Thanks.
