Bernard l'envoie à elle - why is this incorrect?Just wanted to check why "Bernard l'envoie à elle" was incorrect to say Bernard sent something to her - is it that "lui" is mandatory in this case?

"d'entre eux" often refers to people. example: trois d'entre eux sont interessants as opposed to "trois d'elles". With aucun "d'entre eux" refers to both people and things?

«Je sais le faire» means

In the test the correct answer is "I can do it". Based on my current knowledge, it literally means "I know how to do it"

Is this just a case of creative license in translation?

Passé simpleWhy is there so much emphasis (typically 4 out of 10 questions) on this tense in the CI tests? I would have thought that, at this level, tests to improve the use of idiomatic/colloquial language would be more useful. Such knowledge is frequently tested in the weekend writing challenges which are not marked by the system.
