Use of "y"In one lesson (about the use of non plus) there was an example "Il ne joue pas souvent au foot, et toi ? -Je n'y joue pas souvent non plus." Please add to the lesson a link to the lesson that explains this use of "y" (had expected "en") - I'm familiar with y being used to refer to a previously mentioned location but this was something else.

I understand that the adjective goes after the noun, ne est pa? I also learned there are some exceptions to the rule. Do I need to just memorize the exceptions or is there a way to decipher this grammar?

Cannot Use conjugated VerbSince we can't use a conjugated verb after la veille or le lendeman, how do we say "the day before everything burned, the police was on their heel"? Do we have to say la veille que tout était brulé or le jour précédant tout brulé?

Turn things up side down in present tense?Here when the verb retourner goes with avoir in past tense, then it means to turn things up side down or inside out. How do you say it in present tense or in imperative? Merci.

Why was "sa" used here? It is the only example of "sa".Il faut toujours avoir sa carte sur soi.
One must always have one's map on them.
You must always have your map on you.
