À rire or de rire

Bonjour à tous, je m'appelle minhaz.

I have started learning french which makes me a basic beginner in this language.

I have a question related to a sentence which is "it is good to laugh sometimes".

In french it is written as "C'est bon de rire parfois".

As I know that "to" is said as "à" in French.

My question is why it is not written as

C'est bon à rire parfois

C'est difficile ... Il est dur

Could you please explain why C'est and Il est seem interchangeable when in the lesson 'C'est vs il/elle est: saying it is/she is he is' these expressions have separate uses depending on context. Thank you.

"d'entre eux" often refers to people. example: trois d'entre eux sont interessants as opposed to "trois d'elles". With aucun "d'entre eux" refers to both people and things?

I thought we weren't supposed to use ma, mon, mes for one's own body parts in French? Wasn't there a lesson on that?

Regarding question 1 of the quiz above"Louis joue au basket depuis une heure" - can this also mean he has been playing since one o'clock? (This is not one of the possible answers)

liaison with soit...soitIs there no liaison between soit and the word that follows it? None of the sound files seemed to include it, whether soit preceded un/une/en... Thank you!

Hi. I am confused about some of the sentences in this lessonSome sentences seem very similar to "will have" (futur antérrior) and I can't tell the difference. For example: Apparemment, ils seraient partis ce matin. Apparently, they would have left this morning. Selon Tom, elles seraient rentrées chez elles vers 3 heures. According to Tom, they would have come home around 3. Why would you not say"According to Tom, they will have come home around 3" or "Apparently they will have left this morning"?
