Get recommended lessons by levelMy placement test put me at A2. I've been taking an A2 test, back to A0, then A1, and finally another A2. I'm not worried about A0 or A1 but I'd like to be able to take a look at what Kwiziq recommends for me in A2 before I take the last test. Unfortunately you seem to only get recommendations after you take a test (even though I know darn well Kwiziq is tracking me at every level.)

Certains d'entre eux voulaient au cinéma.Bien que j'étudie le français pendant plus que deux ans, j'ai toujours un problème avec l'imparfait et le passé composé. Ma questionne est pourquoi avez-vous utilisé l'imparfait au lieu de le passé composé.  Ou sont-elles tous les deux une possiblité dans cette phrase.  Au fait, <au lieu de le passé composé> ne me paraît pas d'être correct...dans mon avis.

Sorry, the previous one jumped out without me knowing...

As I can understand, lui/leur is more when we are addressing an action towards someone, right? je lui parle, je leur demande, etc. in the test the question was about "voler" FROM sbody. So is it an exceptional case, or is it both "to" and "from" direction? Thanks!

faire de vs rendre

In the last sentence, the correct response uses "fait de".  Why isn't "rend" acceptable? Is it because rendre is strictly = make something + adjective, not make something into something else + adjective?
