"ses parents se sont embrassés"Literally, this sentence could mean 1. His parents kissed themselves; or 2, His parents kissed each other. But I cannot figure out how a person could kiss himself, so the 1st meaning makes no sense to me. So, in a multiple choice I would discard the 1st answer, but apparently I was wrong for not including it. Please explain.

Il a fait beau tous le temps.

Why is it not "Il FAISAIT beau tous le temps"? It so describes a condition that continued for the duration of the weekend and that sets the event in the weather of the sojourn.

Lag time on second questioni had several instances where tapping normally would not go to second question but increased tapping bypassed it altogether so I got a not completed score. Why is that?

Why does "la vraie cuisine française" mean "real French cuisine"? Doesn't "vrai" mean "real/true" when it comes after the noun and "quite a/elaborate/interesting" when it comes after the noun?

Cases where both can be used?Elle n'attend pas grand-chose de lui. Elle ne s'attend pas à grand-chose de lui. Are both above phrases correct? If yes, do they mean differently? She doesn't expect much of him.
