There is a question in one of the tests. Where is qui is not accepted as the answer . Why so?The question is pasted below. Why the answer should be Qu'est-ce qui and not qui while in the lesson both are used interchangably. ____________________vous avez envie de revoir ? Who[m] do you want to see again?

how do pronominal verbs work?I have no problems with "se laver" or "se promener" - these are things you're doing to yourself. But "s'attaquer", "se moquer", "s'écrier" (attacking, making fun of, crying at) ? Those are done to others, so why are they pronominal?

Elles ________ pendant tout le film !" They will have chatted during the whole film!HINT: Conjugate "bavarder" in Le Futur Antérieur

The correct answer was Elles auront bavarde pendant tout le film.

Why does bavarder here not agree in gender and number? Or am I missing something?

Please help, I have struggled with lesson for awhile now.

This is a contribution to help others who might find this confusing:

In French, there are certain sentence constructions or even verbs that could be made negative with just the addition of "ne". The addition of "pas" and the likes isn't necessary. This concept is called "Ne littéraire".

Clauses containing "si" are one of those instances where the Ne littéraire could be used.

infos versus nouvelles

All through the piece "news" is translated as "infos" except in the last sentence when it is "nouvelles". Any special reason for this, beyond some idiosyncrasy of language?

This is weird! I type and it shows blank!Now I cannot figure out "plus-que-parfait"! Even J'avais is "I had"! So, how do I know if it is "J'avais" or "J'ai eu" that has to be used? Sorry, just cannot find the answer!
