Is this grammatically correct for "After waking up, I'm grumpy."? 

p.s. this is a one-off event, not a recurring event. 

From my understanding this is from the initial verb entendre meaning to hear. 

From the different conjugations it will be I hear myself, I hear you etc but when you add "bien" at the end why does it become "I get along"? i.e., Je m'entends bien avec...?

Nous mangeons du poulet.

Nous prenons un peu de poulet.

The first sentence is "de + le poulet" but the second is "de poulet". Is this because of the "un peu" modifier? What's the rule? 

Question: What is the best way to say ''He waited for twenty minutes.''?

Correct Answer: Il a attendu pendant vingt minutes.

Wrong Answer: Il attendait pendant vingt minutes.

If the question was "He was waiting for twenty minutes.", would the correct answer then be "Il attendait pendant vingt minutes."?

In the last sentence, the speaker says he can't eat salad without bread and "salad" is expressed as "de salade." Shouldn't it be "de la salade?"
