Why did none of the answers for shoes size have the option pointure as a vocabulary choice? I thought you weren't supposed to use taille with shoe sizes.

In translating the idea of the time it takes to do something, are mettre and prendre interchangeable? Or are there specific situations for the use of each ?

This question relates to the use of avoir vs prendre in one of the test questions for the subjonctif linked to this forum.
Question: "Ils n'auront pas de dessert à moins qu'ils ne fassent leurs lits".
I thought when talking about having a meal or a drink etc. the verb "prendre" was used - not avoir?
Why is it "coca" rather than "cola"? Is that because it is a brand?
