j'ai mangé la moitié du chocolat j'ai mangé un demi-chocolat
Bonjour à tous,
In translating the idea of the time it takes to do something, are mettre and prendre interchangeable? Or are there specific situations for the use of each ?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Kwiziqers! Marc a une forte personnalité. Il défend ___ ses opinions.
Why only fortement is correct? Fort can also be used an adverb.
i learned that aimer is to love a person or animal but it means like for an object and if you want to love an object you use adorer eg j'adore le chocolat - i love chocolat. j'aime le chocolat - i like chocolat. Is this wrong?
Whilst not directly on this subject but is anyone able to explain the use of "vaut" from the example. Il vaut mieux le faire soi même.
