Question: What is the best way to say ''He waited for twenty minutes.''?
Correct Answer: Il a attendu pendant vingt minutes.
Wrong Answer: Il attendait pendant vingt minutes.
If the question was "He was waiting for twenty minutes.", would the correct answer then be "Il attendait pendant vingt minutes."?
The lesson states that the e in, for example, 'joueront' is not pronounced.
Please explain why this is so when the verb in the following sentence, taken from the lesson, the e is pronounced.:
Nous volerons dans une heure.
To translate the sentence " That time is not convenient for me", should one use le temps or l'heure to express the time ?Thanks for the help !
