Use of the subjunctive with espérer.

I believe that's the subjunctive in the final sentence.

If so, I would like to understand why it's being employed here with espérer.

I always understood that this would not use the subjunctive in the affirmative (indicative), but perhaps the imperative changes this somehow?

No doubt I'm missing something here...

Elles ________ pendant tout le film !" They will have chatted during the whole film!HINT: Conjugate "bavarder" in Le Futur Antérieur

The correct answer was Elles auront bavarde pendant tout le film.

Why does bavarder here not agree in gender and number? Or am I missing something?

Please help, I have struggled with lesson for awhile now.

Tony, The rule you are confused about deals with "When referring to the street, road, avenue, or boulevard people live on. " I hope that helps. Rene (not a native French speaker)

Common exceptionsThe lesson states "Most verbs ending -ir in Le Présent (Present Tense) conjugate like this:" but sortir, mentir and partir are very comon verbs endng in -ir that have a different rule so shouldn't the lesson discuss both groups smultaneously, otherwise a student gets misled until sometime later when the other is introduced with a similarly simplistic description.

When asking a question shouldn't we use (f.i.) "Aurez-vous ...?" instead of "Vous aurez ...?" ?
