What would be the meaning of "et encore" in her sentence : "Mieux vaut éviter les vêtements que le bébé ne portera qu'une seule fois, et encore". I can't work out why (or in what sense) she is adding "et encore" at the end.

Partitive articles

We are told that partitive articles become de or d' in negative tenses. Yet in Aurélie's Chrismas quiz 'il ne veut que de la bûche' is given as a correct answer.

Please explain.

I am giving you the keys so that you can come in versus I am calling you so that you can come?In the first sentence puisses entrer is used, in the second viennes with the can understood. Is it a general rule that can is as it were rolled into the subjunctive unless a physical possibility is being discussed?

Is this a good summary?

Been looking at this for a long time. Conclusion is if you want to write a sentence using a/the/my , Or making a general opinion then use c'est. Otherwise use I'll/Elle est to make a specific opinion towards something/someone if there is no a/the/my in the sentence?
