Both mean time. Are there rules for their use?
Good, better, best(bon, meilleur, le/la meilleure). How is "ma meilleure amie", translated as "my best friend" distinguisablle from "my better friend" except by convention? I.e. one would never say yare my better friend.

Simple tense : n'en + [verb] pas+ [number]
Close Future : n' aller + en pas+ [infinitive] + [number]
Compound tense : n'en + [auxiliary] pas+ [past participle] + [number]

Ce livre a été écrit pour les lycéens. Why is 'écrit' used here?
I thought that "turc" referred to a Turkish man and that "turque" referred to a Turkish woman. The correct answer indicates that "turque" refers to a Turkish man. Please explain why my answer was marked as incorrect.
