The English recording says "the path" or sounds like it anyway, should be "a path".

I wondered whether islands take the feminine gender?  For instance, how would one say:

in/to/ from Sri Lanka; and

in/to/from Ceylon

Some references say the following meaning about the verbs:

-sortir = to bring out

-sentir = to do

-repartir: to answer back,

is this true?

A hint in the first question suggests "use vous form" in "votre (oeuvre d'art favorite)". But later, speaking to the same person comes the response "Je suis d'accord avec toi". Is there a reason for what appears to me to be an inconsistency? Same two people speaking.

In writing French, when do you use "on" and when do you use "nous" ?

'When it's not cold I sleep outside'. Dehors is suggested before it comes up in the English so if one adds it to the translation prior to it appearing, it becomes an error. The suggestion needs to come after 'when it's not cold'.

Lesson: I think you’re beautiful. I used trouver, Je trouve que tu es belle. Why is trouver incorrect? Thanks. 

In the lesson: Raise your hand please, I used votre main since clearly another person is involved, the one telling someone else to raise her hand. Why is la main the correct usage? Thanks much.
