Si j'écris “ pourquoi il a soif ?”

I was wondering why "j'irai finir" is used instead of "je vais finir." Is there a subtle difference in meaning between them? Thanks!

 In the following question the answer is given as 'plus d'argent que' having de before plus doesn't sound right to me, can someone explain please.

J'ai besoin de ________ l'année dernière pour produire l'exposition.

I need more money than last year to produce the exhibition.

For translating "He must tidy his room" in a specific context about someone, will this be the correct translation?

Why is « ils sont passées »correct when one says « They passed the morning bringing eggs.. » Isn’t « to pass the morning » or «  to pass the weekend » a transitive use of the verb, therefore « avoir »?

I’m not sure why there is a distinction in the translation of ‘we went to a wedding’ and ‘anyone we know’. Can anyone explain the different usages here?

Hi - I'm wondering why the verb faire is used in the sentence "Mais la nouvelle cuisine fera 12 square meters" and not the verb être for the sentence "But the new kitchen will be 12 square meters".  Thanks.
