Profiteroles et choux

Miam ! Everything looks so good. I can't decide what to have!

I learned a new use of the word: "choux", from your definition of Profiteroles: (re: choux filled with ice cream). I was a little confused at first knowing that "choux" means "cabbage" in French, but I had never heard the term used in American English.

However, according to Collin's English dictionary, it is a noun in Bristish English meaning:

"a very light pastry made with eggs, used for eclairs, etc"

"origin: partial translation of French pâte choux cabbage dough (from its round shape)"

Quand j'en aurai fini avec tout ça

I've never really understood when to use "en" even with the lessons but with this sentence in particular, why are we using it? I know it's "finir de faire qch" but why is it needed and how do I know when to use it?

Can you please add more sentences for this lesson? For instance, there is no sentence for "Nous pouvons" :(

La salle de consultationThis term is used rather than "salle d'auscultation". I've never heard this term ever used in France.

Why does "de" = "with" in the sentence "seule la pleine lune éclairait DE sa lumière" - I've never understood this and I never find it explained?

It's four PM

I wrote, "il est quatre heures de l'après-midi." But the answer was marked wrong and used the 24 hr framework instead. I understand the answer it gave, but I just to make sure that my answer was also acceptable.

Direct object sentence

Hello,

I am doing the A1 reading passage for the Cher journal and the sentence I'm confused on is. Il me reste des crosissants du weekend.

I know il me reste is a direct object sentence but not sure how the meaning of the word reste is used here.

I think it means he has leftover croissants?
