Can someone help? I learnt what I thought was a beautiful French expression with 'comprendre' which meant basically "I am confused". It woud be in a form like "I am confused please explain it to me more".. with the verb comprendre.
This lesson reminded me of it but I cannot recall the precise syntax now! Anyone? Thanks!
The question in the quiz read: Le DJ est insupportable. Tout le monde ______ pense. Fill in the blank with y en le, etc. So the answer is le. As I understand you use le when it replaces a phrase that starts with que or and infinitive. Where is the indication that I should use le? Thanks.
What is more commonly used in French - aimer or plaire?

When I did my quiz, with 'Ben _______ son train presque tous les jours.', the answer box was a drop-down question. When I got my results, this question was Almost There. The answer showed two different answers! If a question is drop-down, you can't select two answers at once, can you?
How would you translate an exchange like this into French:
"Would you like to go for a walk?"
"Yes, after you make me breakfast."
Is it
"Aimerais-tu faire une promenade?"
"Oui, après que tu m'auras préparé le petit déjeuner." ?
The quiz question was Lucas a monté la nouvelle armoire de sa sœur
How is this different from Lucas a monté les escaliers?
In otherwords, why is "Lucas climbed on top of his sister's new wardrobe" incorrect?
Thank you
J'ai trois soeurs. Does this change to Je n'ai pas trois soeurs or je n'ai pas de soeurs. If the latter, then do all numbers change to de??
why does it have to be faire with aikido? why is joue a l'aikido wrong?
Can I use l'imparfait instead? : "Je n'aimais pas le goût de la viande"
'ne pas aimer le goût' is a past habit, has no clear begining and end, as well as expressing an opinion. Why can't we use l'imparfait?
