I wonder how this audio passed the Quality Control department of LKL. The speech was too fast to be understood by a learner even at B1 stage.
Pourquoi y dans cette phrase: J’ai fait une liste de peur qu’il n’y ait une problème?
Why is "Nous avons seulement deux chambres" incorrect?
I understand why "Nous n'avons que deux chambres" is correct, but if I understood the lesson correctly then the option with seulement should simply be informal, but correct just the same.
Donc, alors and ainsi, are they synonymous and interchangeable?
A) As 'so' in sentences such as:
1) So, I'm ready for a drink.
2) I've been working in the garden so I am ready for a drink.
B) Any general advice?
why is it (nous) sommes alles but nous avons adore... Why does alles correspond to the 2 people involved but adore is singular. I don't recall the lesson in which the verb does or does not agree with the number in the subject. (and why can't I type accents in this part of the program???)
Hi
The lesson says that one uses et demie / et quart / moins le quart in 1-12 o'clock. But how about minuit? Can I say "Il est minuit et demie / et quart / moins le quart" ?
Merci d'advance
As in, I know that 'un' in masculine, and 'une' is feminine, but how do you tell if an everyday object is masculine or feminine.
