Three dictionaries state that the word for waffle is spelled with only one 'f', i.e. une gaufre. Which is it?

These are two different times, one before midday and the other after midday. Are they both correct in this instance because the evening setting has already been mentioned?

Hello, i have answered all questions in the placement test but every time i press finish, it takes me back to the "Start your placement test" page.
This came up in the examples of the use of stress pronouns: Ma femme et toi êtes meilleures amies. But why is it 'êtes' and not 'sont'?
I used C' but right answer is il. Why C'est is wrong buit Il est is correct.

When the time expressed uses hour numbers under 12 (with either clock), you use et quart/et demie/moins le quart, and not quinze/trente/quarante-cinq.
Does it also mean that, et quart/et demie/moins le quart can be used with under 12 and above 12 both?
