Re: verbal/non-verbal

Hi, The use of « non-verbal sentences » on this page is confusing and could just be deleted. Verbal means (Shorter OED) either « using words » or « oral, spoken ». It doesn’t mean containing a verb. Another way to explain « on its own » would be « as an exclamation ». Bonne journée

Salut Stephen,

"The use of « non-verbal sentences » on this page is confusing and could just be deleted"

Suggest that this point is best put to the help desk rather than the language forum.
