I’m wondering why Nous is missing from this discussion. Ex: Write to us! Or Follow us! Is it because it is simply nous for both direct and indirect objects?
Hi all :) There’s so much amazing info on this site, however can anyone recommend how to best use it to study level by level? I see there’s a lot of mini quizzes, though I’d like to make sure i study the needed vocabulary topics ans grammar for each level and test myself to ensure I move forward correctly. Let me know if any tips and best practices. Thanks !
the word some in french is it written as 'du' or 'de'
Tu vas devoir hypothéquer une de tes propriétés. The text above shows "... une des tes ..."
The question is:
Invert ‘Tu t’es amusés.’ to be a question
= T’es tu amusés? Why is the ‘u’ not dropped in “tu” as it is followed by a verb that starts with a vowel?
In the test Nous voyageons dans ________ propre voiture – ‘notre’ is stated as the correct answer, not ‘nos’
However, in the learn and discuss - Nous avons nos passeports is stated as correct.
What is the difference?
Why do the tests always include one or two questions on a topic that was NOT part of my study plan? or even covered in any previous lessons? Doesn't seem fair! I'm thinking about canceling my premium subscription because of this.
C'est drôle. Je pensais que ce texte parlerait de jeux dans la neige ! Mais ils sont restés à la maison à regarder Netflix. 😉
It seems as though "Elle s'est fait jeter en prison", or "Ils se sont fait raser la barbe", in each case with "fait" invariant, are acceptable. Am I right, and, if so, is there a logic behind the invariance?
