My two brothers are good at languages, but neither is good at maths
Should this be "ni l'un ni l'autre n'est bon"? According to a french speaking friend (and Gemini) l'un and l'autre refer to each brother individually, so it should be singular.

I am enjoying these exercises. The length of the passages is just right for me. My understanding of spoken French is about level A2 ( after I have listened once or twice) though my reading level is B1/B2. however, the site takes some study to navigate For instance how to move from one dictation to the next is not clear.
Its a cute little exercise but with it being a beginner exercise .. . Focusing on proper pronunciation should supersede show. The fully little voice frankly mispronounces a few words that context makes one able to figure it out but at this level, its hard enough just getting the words much less sorting through a strange (though cute) little acting voice.
Where does it go in a sentence with a compound verb when one is reflexive? Je vaism’en passer de pain????
Why passe compose with "We enjoyed ..." and "we drank..." rather than imparfait?

On the quiz the question was: How would you say "I go shopping on Tuesdays" I selected Je fais les courses les mardis. It was marked incorrect with the correct answer being le mardi. Can you explain why Tuesdays wouldn't be les mardis?
